Turn 1 Cowboys Trade their Hats for Helmets
This upcoming Saturday, September 23, the Turn 1
Cowboys, John Thompson and Jimmy Walsh, will step out of their friendly
confines of the turn 1 grandstand and move into the driver’s seat of
4-cylinder enduro cars at the tough and tumble Riverhead Raceway. The
two will drive entries courtesy of their P.R. guy Bob of
Marrzmotorsports, as well as 102.3 WBAB, LongIslandJam.com, and Wild
Child Graphics & Design. This is their opportunity to show what they
got behind the wheel.
Both John Thompson and Jimmy Walsh have years of
experience behind go-karts, driving at tracks such as Medford Raceway,
Westhampton Speedway, and Riverhead Raceway. They were both excellent
racers in their own right, winning many races. Now the two will get the
chance to show that they are much more than noise in turn 1, but rather
racers in their own right.
You can bet that while the Turn 1
Cowboys race, that their legion of cowboys in turn 1 will be there to
cheer them on. Watch out folks, the Cowboys are coming through, and
they are here to take no prisoners, just the occasional Miller Lite or
two in victory lane.Source: Marrzmotorsports/Turn
