DMC Auto Group Announces Charity Promotion for North South Shootout
Lexington, NC (October 23, 2006): For the second straight year, the DMC
Auto Group of North Carolina is hosting three fantastic programs for the
racers-one that will again benefit the Red Cross as well. The DMC Auto
Exchange will be hosting the DMC Charity Challenge along with their
continued participation in the strong contingency program of the 4th
Annual-North-South Shootout TM. DMC will present both the halfway leader
bonus and will serve as the presenting sponsor of “pole night”.

North-South Shootout. “They not only understand the importance of treating

North-South Shootout are encouraged to buy a decal in support of the DMC
Charity Challenge”.
Qualifying action for the annual North-South Shootout will take place on
Friday evening with time trials for both the headlining Modified division
and the SK-Type Modifieds. (Heat races will be held for all divisions as
well.) The competitor to set fast time for the Modified division will
receive $500 from DMC Auto Mart of King, NC while the overall pole winner in
the SK Modified division will receive $250.
C&C Racing Promotions will pay additional pole award money, up to $1,500 in
the Modified division, to the various Modified Series being represented that
have not already secured the overall pole award. C&C Racing Promotions also
will pay additional pole award money in the SK Modified division. An
additional $100 will be awarded to the highest qualifier from each
track/series not already represented by the overall pole winner. Eligible
Track/Series will include the Stafford, Thompson, and Wall Township
Speedways, the Waterford Speedbowl and the SST Modified Series.
The generosity of the DMC Auto Group will extend to race day as well. The
DMC Auto Exchange Halfway Challenge Leader Bonus will award the leaders at
halfway of both the Modified 100 and SK-Type Modified 50. The Modified
leader at that time will receive a $500 while the SK halfway leader will
receive $250.
Both the Red Cross Katrina Relief Fund and the racers will be the
benefactors of the DMC Auto Exchange Halfway Charity Challenge. All
competitors competing at the 4th Annual North-South TM will have the
opportunity to purchase "DMC Auto Exchange Charity Challenge" decals for $10
each. DMC Auto Exchange guarantees a minimum donation of $500 for the Red
Cross. A random drawing will be held at the halfway mark of the both the
Modified 100 and the SK-Type Modified 50. Any competitor who has purchased
and displayed a decal will be eligible to win one of the two $400 bonuses
put up by DMC Auto Exchange.
The 4th Annual North-South Shootout TM is set for November 3&4, 2006 at
Concord Motorsports Park. The 100-lap Modified event will highlight an
action-packed two-day racing event that will also feature SK-type Modifieds,
Pro-Four/Four Cylinders, Vintage Modifieds and Vintage Sportsman. For
