Hoosier Named North-South Shootout Title Sponsor

Lexington, NC (October 28, 2006):  C&C Racing Promotions, owners and promoters of the Annual North-South Shootout TM, has named Hoosier Tire Asphalt South of Welcome, NC as the presenting sponsor of the Modified portion of the annual North-South Shootout TM.  Owned and operated by the Freeman Family, Hoosier Tire South is one of 14 domestic distributors of Hoosier Racing Tires.

"Hoosier Tire South is a big reason why the North-South Shootout
TM has been successful," said Race Promoter, Charles Kepley of Lexington, NC.  "The Freeman Family has lent not only the support of their company but moral support and unwavering friendship.  This race would not be here without the Freemans and Hoosier Tire South."

The 4th Annual North-South Shootout
TM is scheduled for November 3&4, 2006 at Concord Motorsport Park in Concord, NC and will feature the Hoosier 100.  The best Modified drivers from both north and south of the Mason-Dixon Line will do battle in 100-laps of green flag racing on the famed half-mile tri-oval. The popular SK-Type Modifieds will be part of the excitement with a 50-lapper of their own. The format for the fourth annual event will boast time trials, heat races, consolation and non-qualifiers event(s) for both the Modifieds and SKs.  Support divisions include a combination event for the Pro-Four Modifieds and the Four-Cylinders along with two divisions of authentic vintage racing.  All divisions will be Hoosier-shod.

Hoosier Tire South is the official tire supplier of the Southern Whelen Modified Tour.  They actively support the World Series of Stock Car racing at New Smyrna Speedway during race weeks in Florida and a host of other racing events including a number of noted Late Model events in the South.

"The Freemans and their staff are committed to the sport of stock car racing and all of those that are involved in it," continued Kepley. "We could not ask for a better partner."
