Richie Evans Blanket Released As Part of Classic
Modified Series
Dutch Hoag and Geoff Bodine Designs Also Join Product Line
Brackney Hills Knitting has just released a new
line of officially licensed knitted stadium blankets featuring designs
of several major short track drivers of the past and present. The first
offerings in their Classic Modifiedseries of Northeast Modifieds are
Richie Evans, Dutch Hoag and Geoff Bodine.
The Richie Evans blanket has the image of the Pinto-bodied
car that he campaigned during the 1980 season. Fans of the old
coupes will appreciate the Dutch Hoag design from 1968, while the Geoff
Bodine Valiant blanket depicts the car as he ran it in 1971.
These blankets from Brackney Hills Knitting have the designs
actually knitted in, unlike some vendors that simply sew, silk-screen or
embroider the artwork on. All of their blankets are 60" by 60", are made
of machine washable acrylic knit and weigh four pounds. Each blanket
also comes in its own zippered vinyl storage bag.
Also being released at this time are blankets featuring Ken
Schrader's Red Baron Pizza-sponsored dirt Late Model, the World of
Outlaws sprint cars of Donny Schatz and Jeremy Campbell, and Steve
Paine's DIRT Modified.
These blankets are available exclusively from Brackney Hills
Knitting and are not found in any stores. All blankets are $59.00 each,
plus shipping and handling. More details, product images and ordering
information can be obtained online at
www.BrackneyHills.com, or by
contacting the company at PO Box 129, Brackney PA 18812-0129,
