announce a one-race sponsorship package for the upcoming ARCA 200 at
Daytona. Potencia Energy Drink (Potenciaenergydrink.com),
a brand new product available in the United States targeting 40 million
plus Latinos nationwide.
Potencia Energy Drink (PED)
will serve as a primary sponsor of Weber’s No. 89 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
SS. Weber will be attempting to make his ARS (ARCA RE/MAX Series) debut
at the legendary 2.5-mile Superspeedway.

Brian Weber &
Associates Racing head into Daytona International Speedway this week
looking to improve on their open-test performance from December. In the
final open test session of the 2006 season, Weber clocked in the 22nd
fastest time overall. “We’re heading into the race very optimistic. The
restrictor plate races have proven that survival is key. We have a good
car, a fresh engine and leadership from former NASCAR Nextel Cup Series
crew chief Mike Stuer who has been influential in making our team look
stout right off the bat.”
The team plans to
announce the remainder of their 2007 racing efforts following the season
opener at Daytona.
The ARCA 200 at Daytona (80 laps/200 miles)
is the first of 23 events on the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series schedule.
Practice begins Thursday, February 8 with a five-hour (12:00pm-5:00pm
EST) practice session planned. Qualifying is slated for Friday, February
9 at 12:00pm EST. Final practice is limited to 55 minutes (5:15-6:10pm
EST) on Friday evening. The ARCA 200 at Daytona will be aired live on
the SPEED channel beginning at 4:00pm. Additional race coverage can be
