Safelite Auto Glass Returning to Late Models
It was announced today that
Safelite Auto Glass will return as a seasonal sponsor for the popular Late
Model division of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series at Riverhead Raceway
in 2007. The Late Models are just one of six divisions of racing that will
usher in the 2007 season at Barbara and Jim Cromarty’s quarter mile oval on
Saturday evening May 5th.
Safelite Auto Glass is the area’s largest mobile auto glass repair
company with 50 mobile vans serving Manhattan to Montauk with expert auto
glass replacement and repair. The 2007 campaign will mark the third
consecutive year that Safelite Auto Glass will serve as a marketing partner
with the Late Models and they will host their night at the races on Saturday
July 28th.
Greg Kleila of Lindenhurst won the 2006 Late Model crown and will be the
man to be in 2007 with such driving talents as Roger Oxee, “Mighty” Mike
Mortimer, “Dynamite” Dan Turbush, Jarrod Hayes, Ken Alfano, Kevin Metzger
and Shawn Patrick among those out to dethrone the 2006 champion.
Joining the Late Models on the debut of the NASCAR Whelen All-American
Series at Riverhead Raceway May 5th are the NASCAR Modifieds, Figure Eights,
Chargers, Blunderbusts and Super Pro Trucks. Qualifying races will start at
4:30 pm with feature event racing set for 5:30 pm.
