Meet NASCAR Modified driver, Sal Accardi, Jr. and the
#93 Sal Accardi Motorsports team Sunday, August 26 at the Blue Point Deli
located on Montauk Highway in Blue Point. Accardi will be on hand from 11AM
to 2PM to sign autographs along with free giveaways and the #93 NASCAR
Modified racecar.
Sal Accardi, Jr., a second-generation driver, earned
the 2006 Most Improved Driver Award at Riverhead Raceway and has three
career victories in his short career. While the 2007 season has been filled
with bad luck, this past Saturday night Accardi ran well, earning himself a
runner-up finish to 5-time Riverhead Champion, Wayne Anderson.
Accardi’s NASCAR Modified team features some of the
