"King Of The Mountain" Weekend Kicks Off With 6 Great Divisions of Racing

A bright, sunny day with clear skies greeted participants in the "King Of The Mountain" series at Mountain Speedway. From Modifieds to Midgets, 6 divisions of racing were run off with little incident to establish the qualifying fields for the Modifieds, Late Models, and Street Stocks and complete the racing for the ATQMRA Midgets, Thrillers and 4 cyl Thrillers. Mods, LM’s and Street Stocks will run their features on Sunday, after consolation races are run for the Modifieds and LM’s to determine the cars that will complete the fields established today in heat race qualifying. They will complete the day with feature races, wrapping up another successful "King of the Mountain" weekend. Those already qualified can be found below. If you have the time, a trip to Mountain on Sunday to see this exciting weekend wrap-up would be worth your time. The weather forecast for Sunday is for great weather, so don’t miss it!
