Notes: The day's schedule was delayed somewhat
after a hard crash during the Supermodified time trials.
While the driver had to be cut out of the car, it is
LongIslandJam.com's understanding that the driver is OK. A
rather large field of 38 Supermodifieds on hand. Still to
go on the schedule for Friday night are heats for all three of
the above divisions. The last chance qualifier for the
Modifieds is scheduled for Saturday.

Last chance qualifying will be held Saturday. According
to reports from the track, JR Bertuccio will be unable to
compete in tomorrow's qualifying as a result of actions that
were deemed by officials to be "unsportsmanlike."
Update - Saturday, 1:28 p.m.
Yesterday's decision regarding JR Bertuccio was apparently
overturned, as he will be allowed to attempt qualifying today.
There are more than 20 cars scheduled to take the green in the
last chance qualifier, with only the top three cars transferring
to the feature. The remainder of positions will be filled
by provisionals and guaranteed starters.
