When the pressure is on race teams to qualify for the
“Gambler’s Classic” Indoor Race presented by SoBe Life Water,
A-1 Racing Products will be there. Warminster, Pa.-based A-1
Racing Products has signed on to present Qualifying Night during
the two-day, Fri.-Sat. Jan. 18 &19 indoor racing spectacular at
Atlantic City, N.J.’s Boardwalk Hall. The M&R Products TQ
Midgets/600cc Micro-Sprints, Slingshots and Champ Karts will all
participate in the preliminary action.
Contributing to the excitement of “A-1 Qualifying Night” will
be an appearance by NASCAR star Ken Schrader, who will strap
into Alan Mollott-prepared No. 51 TQ Midget for the evening. It
will be the first Boardwalk Hall attempt by the versatile
Fenton, Mo., native.
For the race fans, A-1 Racing Products will supply
“ThunderStix” noise-making clappers, which will be available in
the A-1 display at Motorsports 2008 presented by VP Racing
Fuels, taking place at the nearby Atlantic City Convention
Center during the daytime hours Jan. 18-20. The A-1 Racing
Products booth will be adjacent to the food court and adjacent
to the stage where Ms. Motorsports will be held.
“I think the ‘A-1 ThunderStix’ will be a great way to get
the race fans involved in the racing,” said Rob Pierce of A-1
Racing Products. “Last year, we went to the Indoor Race and the
action was so good, we wanted something that would make some
noise to cheer for our favorite drivers. We’re proud to be part
of the Indoor Race and contribute to its excitement.”
At the Motorsports 2008 Race Car Show, A-1 Racing Products
will be having a major safety equipment sale, including Simpson,
Bell, HANS and Ringers. Also, Kelly Hale - sales manager for
Longacre Racing Products - will be in the A-1 booth with new
Longacre products, including the Wireless Scale Systems. A-1
will have over $10,000 in Longacre inventory.
On the card for “A-1 Products Presents Qualifying Night” will
be M&R Midget Time Trials, three M&R Midget “Triple Roaring 20s”
qualifiers, four Champ Kart 11-lap qualifiers and two Slingshot

night, with racing at 8 p.m.
Saturday night’s program will begin with the Fan Fest on the
