In an attempt to address issues facing the class, members of
the Super Pro Truck division held a meeting of competitors and
other interested parties. An overwhelming 21 teams were
represented at the meeting. Co-Chief Stewards Mike Cappiello and
Jim Maggio were on hand to answer questions and participate in
the discussions, and they took note of the issues that were
raised. The meeting was informal and everyone was encouraged to
express their opinions, and some positive dialog and open
brainstorming took place. The meeting was viewed by those in
attendance as a good step towards strengthening the division and
making the upcoming season a successful one for the class.
