The seminar is set for 12:30 pm on Sunday, January 20th at
the Atlantic City Convention Center.
“More than 150 entries were received for the contest,” said
Saxton. “There were entries from as far off as California. And I
will tell you that the judges had a tough time deciding the
winner. There was some excellent sponsorship proposals
submitted.”
The winner of the contest will be announced at the FREE
seminar and he or she will walk off with $4,000 in cash courtesy
of Chad Sinon/BPG Racing and Joe Bertothy. The winner will be
required to carry their name/logo on their race car for the 2008
season.
In addition the winner will receive a $250 package of photo
cards courtesy of Racerboy Marketing/Chris Budihas Photography,

The FREE seminar will give attendees the basics in
sponsorship marketing.
“It is not possible to teach attendees everything they need
to know in such a short period of time but we will at least get
them headed in the right direction,” said Saxton. “We will talk
about creating the proposal, finding the potential sponsor, what
to offer the sponsor, how to get the media involved and so much
more.”
This will be the 23rd year that Saxton has offered the FREE
seminar as part of the show.
Saxton will also offer a very special price on a sponsorship
marketing kit that includes generic proposals, a DVD on creating
proposals, the outstanding Andrew Waite book titled “Winning
Sponsorship, “A Hodgepodge of Sponsorship Tips,” contracts, and
