The Long Island Karting Association, Inc. (LIKA) is
presenting its 2008 Karting & Motorsports Expo on Sunday, March
2, 2008, from Noon - 3PM, at the Hilton Long Island, Route 110,
Melville, New York. LIKA has been in existence for over 40
years, primarily as a Kart Racing club, and recently has grown
to include Motorcycles under 150 cc and Pocket Bikes. LIKA has
experienced phenomenal growth due to our location and
enthusiastic marketing. LIKA racing events are held at the
highly visible and centrally located Nassau Veterans Memorial
Coliseum, Hempstead Turnpike, Uniondale, New York.
Marketing for the Expo is focused on bringing motorsports
enthusiasts of all ages together. Karting started over 50 years
ago and has recently seen expansive growth in all parts of the
nation with TV exposure on, for example, SPEED TV, and with
sponsorship by Red Bull, BMW, and Snap-On Tools.
Displaying Vendor Participants will receive a 10’ x 10’
display space with a 6’ skirted table. Additional display spaces
are available to Vendor Participants with larger area
requirements. Please register, including payment, by February
21, 2008 to ensure having your requested space(s). Display
spaces will not be available on the day of the event.
Vendors unable to attend the Expo may submit banners,
pamphlets, and publications to be displayed at the Expo. Photos
from the Expo showing banners and other submitted materials will
be viewable on our web site to verify their presence.
