The LIKA 2008 Karting & Motorsports Expo drew quite a crowd of
vendors and attendees at the Hilton Long Island in Melville.
There were several vendor booths, with everything from firesuits, helmets and karting supplies to complete karts, bikes
and ATVs. Several members also displayed their trophies and
equipment, taking time to explain the club and the sport itself
to inquisitive attendees. The Brigatis had a table set up to
provide information about EEKR. All in all, the event was a
success, promoting awareness of the multiple karting
opportunities on Long Island.
