Racer Supports Armed Forces Heroes

On Memorial Day, many of us take time to honor those in our armed forces who give of themselves for us each and every day. Behind the scenes, some people do that all year long. Legends rookie Joe Sedotto, driver of the #43, spends some of his spare time as a helicopter pilot with the Air National Guard in Westhampton. His wife, Carrie, has taken a special interest in helping injured soldiers through her web site www.PurpleHeartCandles.com. Carrie donates 20% of her profits to such causes as The Wounded Warrior Project. Joe proudly carries the Purple Heart Candles name on his car, in addition to his other sponsor, Col Security and Management. Sedotto's primary sponsor, Col Security and Management (www.col-security.com), has a staff of former and active military personnel and specializes in physical security assessments, emergency management planning and other investigative services. Fans can see Sedotto in action this Sunday, May 25th, as part of Riverhead Raceway's Memorial Day double-header weekend.
