Riverhead Raceway receives fans from all
over the Northeast and the rest of the country, but Peter Baker
is from a bit farther away. Peter Baker, 47, hails from across
the pond in Brierley Hill, West Midlands, England. Opening night
was his first visit to Riverhead and he has been a fan of racing
for 34 years.
“We do not get to see racing a lot in
England,” Baker said. “So it is nice to see races in the U.S.”.
His favorite driver in England is Matt Neil
who races in the BTCC races.
