Saturday night June 7th has been designated as Craftsman
Tools night at Barbara and Jim Cromarty's Riverhead Raceway
saluting the marketing partner of the NASCAR Whelen All American
Series. Six divisions of racing will compete on the race card
with each feature event winner taking home a handsome Craftsman
Tools trophy. Also on the card will be the 4/6 cylinder truck
Enduro rescheduled due to the rainout on May 31st.
In addition to their involvement with the nationwide NASCAR
Whelen All-American Series, Craftsman Tools is also the title
sponsor of the Craftsman Truck Series where recently Long Island
native Donny Lia of Jericho recorded his first career win. Lia
is a former Riverhead Raceway NASCAR Modified Rookie of the
Year.
The program will feature a 50-lap Modified main event with
double points on the line. Time trials will determine the
starting line-up for the race.
Time trials and other necessary qualifying will start at 4:15
pm with the feature events to begin at 5:30 pm. For further
