This Saturday evening Riverhead Raceway owners Barbara & Jim
Cromarty will roll out the red carpet for area Firefighters.
Free admission will be offered to those who show up at the
track in a Class B uniform for USG night of NASCAR Whelen
All-American Series stock car racing.
USG is a marketing partner with NASCAR in the Whelen
All-American Series that takes in NASCAR Home Track facilities
across the country. Five divisions of NASCAR stock cars will be
competing on the June 28th program with the NASCAR Modifieds
headlining the show that will also include the Late Models,
Chargers, Super Pro Trucks and Legend Race Cars.
To "spice-up" the evening the second Full Size School Bus
Figure Eight race of 2008 will be contested. This race has
become very popular among the family entertainment shows
presented by Barbara & Jim Cromarty. The show will then conclude
with a thunderous, bone-jarring, car destroying 8-Cylinder
Demolition Derby that will thrill young and old alike. To add
even further to the card the first Saturday night Car Rollover
Contest will be presented, this is truly an event you have to
see to believe!
To salute the men and women who put their lives on the line
daily, all Firefighters in uniform will receive free admission
when they arrive at the admission gates for this family fun
night at the races.
