Riverhead Raceway Plans Busy July 26th Program
The month of July will go out in busy fashion Saturday July
26th at Riverhead Raceway as a busy night of NASCAR Whelen
All-American Series stock car racing will find no less than
eight main events on the card. The program will also salute
seasonal Late Model sponsor JMB Construction with their night at
the races.
James Becht of JMB Construction not only sponsors the Late
Model division for 2008 at Riverhead, but also backs the Charger
class along with owning the car for 2006 Charger champion Steve
Ratti of Manorville. When his busy slate allows Becht himself
can be found racing a part-time schedule in the Late Models at
the quarter mile facility.
Joining the Late Models on the NASCAR Whelen All-American
Series show will be the NASCAR Modifieds, Chargers, Blunderbusts
and Super Pro Trucks.
Three great additional family entertainment events will also
be presented by Barbara and Jim Cromarty highlighted by a
Blindfolded Taxi Cab Race, One-On-One Spectator Drags and an
action packed 6-Cylinder Enduro.
Qualifying will start at 4:30 pm July 26th, while the feature
events go green at 5:30 pm. For further information please call
the track office at 631-842-RACE or visit
