Sunday Enduro Racing Returns to Riverhead August 10th
After racing on select Saturday nights in July, the cars and
stars of the Riverhead Raceway Enduros will return to their
usual Sunday afternoon format at Barbara & Jim Cromarty's
quarter mile facility this Sunday August 10th at 12:30 pm.
Heading-up the Enduro card for the afternoon will be the
popular Grand Enduro division where the question will remain,
can anyone beat Ray Fitzgerald? Drivers like Bobby Pease, John
Cozza, Donny Oliver, Robin Vollmoeller and many more will be
gunning for Ray Sunday.
Enduros for the 8-Cylinders, 4/6-Cylinder Trucks, 6-Cylinders
and 4-Cylinder cars will see action along with the One-On-One
Spectator Drags.
The Super Pro Trucks will make their first matinee appearance
of 2008 on August 10th and will be joined by the Legend Race
Cars.
Pit gates will open at 10:00 am and racing will start at
12:30 pm this Sunday August 10th at Riverhead Raceway. In the
event of rain, the program will be run Sunday August 17th.
