Tickets on Sale August 20th for Indoor Auto Racing
at Atlantic City's Boardwalk Hall
Race fans, don‘t be left outside for this one. Tickets for
the 7th Annual Gambler’s Classic for Three Quarter Midgets/600
cc Micro Sprints held inside Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City,
NJ, will go on sale Wednesday, August 20th at noon.
The races will be run Friday and Saturday evenings, January
16th and 17th, 2009 and will once again feature the TQ
Midgets/600 Micro-Sprints, Tobias Slingshots and Sr. Champ
Karts.
Good seats are expected to sell-out quickly for this event,
which runs in conjunction with the huge Motorsports 2009 Race
Car and Trade Show at the Atlantic City Convention Center.
Tickets for the races will be available through all
Ticketmaster outlets and online at
www.ticketmaster.com or by calling the Area Auto Racing
News office in Trenton, NJ at 609.888.3618 after noon on
August 20th.
In an attempt to provide race fans with more options when
selecting their seat for the event, race management has added
two new levels of seating, front-row premium seating and upper
level reserved seating for the 2009 running of the Gambler’s
Classic Atlantic City Indoor Races.
“The past two years we have sold out Saturday night’s
reserved seating in advance,” said race organizer Danny Sammons.
“With the addition of the upper level reserved seats, more fans
will have the opportunity to purchase a reserved seat for the
event and not have to worry about finding a seat when they
arrive.”
“The front row in Atlantic City is definitely the best place
to take in all the action and sold out within minutes of the
tickets going on sale last year,” continued Sammons. “By adding
the premium seating options we are able to distinguish the front
row from the rest of the lower level reserved seats so that
those wanting the front row can select it.”
Another new addition to the Indoor Races this year will be a
TQ Midget/600 Micro-Sprint A-Main event on Friday night paying
$1,000 to the winner and locking the top 12 finishers into
Saturday night’s “Gambler’s Classic” A-Main. The night will also
feature qualifying races for the TQ/600 Micros, Slingshots and
Champ Karts.
Tickets for Friday night’s program are as follows: $27
(Premium seating), $22 (Lower-level reserved), $19 (Upper
reserved), $17 (Adult general admission) and $10 (Child-age 12
or younger).
Saturday night’s tickets are $30 (Premium seating), $25
(Lower-level reserved), $22 (Upper reserved), $20 (Adult general
admission) and $12 (Children age 12 or younger).
Saturday’s schedule will be jam-packed with excitement,
headlined by the “Gambler’s Classic” A-Main for the TQ
Midgets/600 Micro-Sprints. The TQ/Micro Sprints will also
compete in transfer races to fill out the all-star field. The
Slingshot and Champ Karts will run their highly-competitive
A-Mains as well.
Plans for a Pole Night to be held on Thursday Night featuring
practice and time trials for all three divisions are currently
in the works and details about tickets will be released at a
later date.
