Wayne Anderson to Appear at Blue Point Deli & Catering
Good times and family fun are in order for this coming
Sunday, August 17th from noon until 2 p.m. at Blue Point Deli &
Catering, which will play host to the Riverhead Raceway #15
Modified of Wayne Anderson. Anderson will be on hand with the
car, signing autographs for race fans young and old, all while
Blue Point Deli & Catering serves up a barbecue of hamburgers
and hot dogs for the whole family.
Vic and Fran, the owners of Blue Point Deli & Catering, are
strong supporters of racing here on Long Island. They prepare
the food that fuels quite a few race teams at Riverhead each and
every week.
Blue Point Deli & Catering, located at 161 Montauk Highway in
Blue Point, signed on as a sponsor of Anderson's Modified effort
in 2008. Anderson, a five-time Riverhead Raceway Modified
champion and former Whelen Modified Tour champion, was honored
at the raceway recently for his achievements and was also the
subject of a Newsday article that highlighted some of his
accomplishments. Anderson has one win to his credit this season,
and he currently sits ninth in the points standings at Riverhead
Raceway.
Also on hand will be the North Shore Animal League America
#23 Modified of Justin Bonsignore. Bonsignore, a 20-year-old who
moved into the Modified division from go-karts, has recorded
nine top 10 finishes in 13 races so far this season.
