Trucks Return to NELMA
The popular Pro Trucks will once again
support this year’s NELMA Late Model Challenge on Saturday,
October 25 at St. Johns, Pennsylvania’s third-mile Mountain
Speedway. East Quogue, New York’s Frank Dumicich Jr. won last
year’s thrilling event, fending off three-time Riverhead
champion Dan Grennan.
The Pro Trucks already have 13 official
entries on the docket with more expected. Entries include trucks
driven by: Anthony Daleo, John Denniston, Erin Dumicich, Frank
Dumicich Jr., Frank Dumicich Sr., Rich Giordano, Shaun
Gouldsbury, Dave Koening, Wayne Meyer, Michael K. Power, Roger
Turbush, Anthony Vecchio, and P.J. Vecchio.
The tailgate brigade will qualify via heats
and determine a winner through a 30-lap feature. More details,
including rules and purse, will be forthcoming in the next few
weeks.
This year’s NELMA Pro Truck Memorial on
Saturday, October 25 promises to be one of the best races of
night. They will join the Late Models for their 100-lap NELMA
Late Model Challenge and the Legends cars for their Fall
