EEKR 2nd Annual Shootout
October 11th
After a successful 1st Annual EEKR East End Shootout last
year during the WKA Northeast Speedway Pavement Series event,
EEKR President has announced that the 2nd Annual Shootout will
take place again this year during the WKA Divisional, on the
October 10th and 11th weekend. Once again with the popularity of
the Raptor motor still, we will continue to run the races as a
Sr. Champ Heavy Raptor race at 425lbs.
The entry fee will be $75.00.
ALL WKA RACE AND TECH RULES APPLY: DUNLOP DCS or DDS TIRES ONLY.
Friday: October 10th will be Practice from 3:00-8:00pm along
with trailer parking.
Saturday: October 11th will have WKA practice from 12:00-4:00
then the annual BBQ followed by:
Shootout practice at 6:30-7:15.
Shootout Duel Qualifying Races at 7:45
Shootout LCQ Race at 8:00
Shootout feature at 8:30
The lineup will be determined by two 15 Lap Duel Qualifying
races and a LCQ race if necessary. The feature race will be 35
laps.
GUARANTEED:
1st - $1500
2nd - $750
3rd - $500
4th - $300
5th - $200
There will also be special awards given out, such as Hard
Charger, Hard Luck, and Halfway Leader.
LAP MONEY ALSO WILL BE SOLD, ANYONE INTERESTED IN PURCHASING A
LAP FOR $30, please call Justin Bonsignore.
Riverhead Raceway is 1 mile east of the end of the Long Island
Expressway.
