This Friday night, October 24, NELMA will be offering a night
of fun at Damon’s Grill in downtown Hazleton, Pennsylvania.
NELMA will have Mountain Speedway’s two-seat Late Model stock
car on hand as well as many NELMA participants’ rides. In
addition, fans will have the chance to win a ride-along in the
two-seat Late Model stock car during the October 25 event.
Damon’s Grill, located at 120 State Route 93 in Hazleton, is a
leading full-service, casual dining restaurant that emphasizes
prime rib, grilled steaks, chicken, seafood, salad, and Damon's
award-winning ribs. Guests can enjoy a quiet dining room or
Damon’s high-energy Clubhouse that features DTV, a proprietary,
state-of-the-art multi-screen entertainment system offering
sports, network programming and interactive games. NELMA Night
begins at 5 PM and will continue to 9 PM on Friday, October 24.
All fans, teams, and competitors are welcome to come and enjoy
themselves.
The Friday night event will be followed by the main event—NELMA
at St. Johns, Pennsylvania’s Mountain Speedway on Saturday,
October 25. The show will feature Late Models for their 100-lap
NELMA Late Model Challenge, WPW Equipment Rental Legends Fall
Classic, Pro Trucks, Strictly Stocks, and the Democrat vs.
Republican Roller Derby Auto Race. For competitors, pits open at
8 AM on Saturday, October 25, with practice beginning at 10 AM.
For fans, grandstands will open at 12 noon, with qualifying to
begin at 12:30 PM, and the show to start at 2 PM. The rain date
for the show is Sunday, October 26.
