East End Kart Racing (EEKR) will be
hosting their season finale on Sunday, November 23rd at
Riverhead Raceway, and it was announced today that the
organization will take advantage of the opportunity to also give
something back to the community by collecting new, unwrapped
toys for John Theissen's Children's Foundation.
On the racing schedule that day is
the regular slate of races, plus a Senior Champ "Big Bucks Money
Race," which is sure to provide some exciting racing as the
driver of the #45 – Trevor Perry – looks to make it three in a
row. Since it is the club's season finale, it will be the last
opportunity to see the talented young go-karters race in 2008.
In addition to the racing action,
several activities will be underway to benefit John Theissen's
Children's Foundation. Everyone is encouraged to bring a new,
unwrapped toy. A 50/50 money raffle will be held as well.
