Popular FOX-TV race analyst Jeff Hammond
will be joining NASCAR Sprint Cup star Joey Logano and 2008
NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Johnny Benson at the
Motorsports 2009 Race Car & Trade Show taking place at the
beautiful Atlantic City, NJ Convention Center.
Hammond, a former NASCAR Winston Cup crew
chief who worked with Darrell Waltrip when he won two Winston
Cup titles and the 1989 Daytona 500, will be visiting with fans
and signing autographs during the two day show set to take place
January 16-17, 2009. The popular TV personality will also have
copies of his book “Real Men Work in the Pits” available.
Also signing autographs during the show
will be current NASCAR Sprint Cup sensation Joey Logano who will
be taking the place of Tony Stewart in the Joe Gibbs Home Depot
Toyota in 2009.
Johnny Benson, who just recently earned his
first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series title, will also be
appearing at the show to chat with fans and sign autographs.
Motorsports 2009 is the biggest show of its
kind and offers attendees the opportunity to see just about
everything imaginable in motorsports spread out over an
easy-to-navigate 300,000 square feet of the Atlantic City
Convention Center.
More than 250 racecars will be on display
while over 400 vendors will be showing what is new for 2009.
There will be a large number of race track displays where fans
can pick up schedules for the 2009 season and plan for those
special events. Industry seminars and the always popular Ms.
Motorsports competition along with much more will make up the
24th edition of the Motorsports show.
And right down the street at the famed
Boardwalk Hall, the Gambler’s Classic Indoor Midget Auto Races
will be presented on Friday, January 16th and Saturday, January
17th. Three quarter midgets and 600cc micro sprints will be the
featured attraction along with slingshots and champ karts.
Racing each evening starts at 7:30 p.m.
The Saturday night edition of indoor auto
racing sold out last year so fans are advised to order their
tickets now.
There is money to be saved on the
Motorsports 2009 tickets when ordered in advance. At the ticket
