LongIslandJam.com has received word that Roy Schelin, a
long-time fixture in the pits at Riverhead Raceway, passed away
on Wednesday, November 26th. Roy has long been involved with
racing at Riverhead, and will be missed by many.
Arrangements are as follows:
Wake: Saturday, November 29th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and
Sunday, November 30th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
DeFriest-Grattan Funeral Home, 51400 Route 25 (Main Road) in
Southold.
Funeral: Monday, December 1st at 11 a.m.
St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 71305 Main Road in Greenport.
Burial at Stirling Cemetery in Greenport.
