Chris McGuire, driver of the #89x Charger car, is looking to
get the 2009 racing season in gear. The recipient of the 2008
Best Appearing Car in the Charger division will be bringing his
car out of the garage to help celebrate the Daytona 500 as his
sponsor, Cavanaugh's Pub, opens the doors for their first-ever
Daytona 500 party. Cavanaugh's is located on Blue Point Avenue
in Blue Point, just off of Montauk Highway.
Starting at 1 p.m., McGuire will be on hand with his car for
fans to take pictures and get autographs. There will also be Bud
giveaways and beer specials beginning at 3 p.m.
