Riverhead Raceway NASCAR Whelen All-American Series officials
announced recently that Saturday April 4th and Saturday April
11th have been set-aside for the Safety Tech Inspections that
are mandatory for any NASCAR stock car or Enduro car planning to
compete in 2009.
Co-Chief Stewards Mike Cappiello and Jim Maggio want to take
this opportunity to remind owners and drivers of the NASCAR
Whelen All-American Series, as well as the various forms of
Enduro racing that no car will be permitted to practice on
Saturday April 18 or 25th, without first going through and being
approved in Safety Tech inspection.
Hours of operation for Saturday April 4th, as well the 11th
are from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm weather permitting. Also
available both days are the 2009 NASCAR License applications and
as always pit personnel are urged to take care of that paperwork
before opening night May 2nd.
A nominal $5 pit gate fee will be charged for both April 4th
and 11th. For further information please visit our website at
www.riverheadraceway.com or call 631-842-RACE from 9:00 am until
5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
