EEKR President Dave Brigati and his staff opened the pit
gates at Riverhead Raceway for the first EEKR practice session
of the 2009 season, and they were met with a good turnout.
Numerous karters took advantage of the opportunity to shake down
their machines prior to the season opening race scheduled for
March 29th. Another practice session will be held next Sunday,
March 22.
All competitors who did not attend the first practice session
are reminded that no kart will be permitted on the raceway
without first going through safety tech. Therefore, anyone who
wishes to practice next week should arrive at the track as early
as possible so that they may get inspected.
