Blunderbust driver Rob Bader, who was voted the 2008 "Most
Popular Driver" in the division, recently announced that he
signed a new sponsor for the upcoming season. The driver,
entering his third season of competition in the class, will be
adding Pizza Gone Wildwood as a 2009 sponsor.
Bader joined the Blunderbust division in 2007, and was
runner-up for the Rookie of the Year title out of ten
competitors. He followed that up with an impressive sophomore
season which was highlighted by his first feature win. Bader
finished in the top ten in points in 2008, collecting a total of
11 top ten finishes in 26 races.
"As a driver, I think that I have learned a lot in the last
two years," Bader said. "I am confident that I can have a
competitive car week in and week out, and I am happy to have
Pizza Gone Wildwood on board to share in the expected success of
the team."
Pizza Gone Wildwood, located inside of Wildwood Lanes in
Riverhead, serves pizza, wings, heroes, and other food items. As
part of their partnership, Bader will be sending someone through
the pits on race days to take orders for food which will then be
delivered to the track. They can be reached regularly at (631)
727-6622.
Bader commented, "We've worked out a pretty unique deal.
Pizza Gone Wildwood is going to offer race day specials and crew
specials for food that is ordered on race days. It's the type of
situation where everyone can gain some benefit, and I'm looking
forward to making it work for everyone involved."
Pizza Gone Wildwood will join Bader's returning sponsors,
which include Robert's Express Fuel Oil, Moeller's Heroes &
Catering, and FB Performance Transmissions.
