Don’t get left out!! Those are the key words for those who
are planning to attend Motorsports 2010 at the Greater
Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa. (January 22-24) and the
8th annual Gambler’s Classic at the Atlantic City (N.J.)
Boardwalk Hall (January 29-30). Event-host hotels have been
named for both events.
The Radisson Valley Forge Hotel in King of Prussia, Pa.,
which hosted the inaugural Motorsports Show in 1986, is offering
reduced room rates until December 23rd or as long as rooms are
available in the room block. Cost per room is $119 per night.
The hotel is conveniently located off of Route 422 and the
Pennsylvania Turnpike and five miles from the Greater
Philadelphia Expo Center. Free parking is available at the hotel
and Expo Center.
Those staying at the Radisson Valley Forge will find
after-event activities. The phone number for the Radisson Valley
Forge is 1-800-333-3333. You must ask for the special
Motorsports rate. Also, reservations can be made online at
www.radisson.com. Guests
need to write (Motorsports) in the PROMO code box.
Racers and attendees for the Atlantic City Indoor Race will
find The Chelsea located on the famous Boardwalk as the host
hotel for the 2010 running of the Gambler’s Classic indoor
Three-Quarter Midget races. The hotel is located just 3/4 of a
mile from Boardwalk Hall where the races will be held and across
the street from the Tropicana Casino.Special room rates at the
completely remodeled Chelsea are just $89 for Annex Lite and
$119 for Chelsea Luxe.
The hotel staff has planned a post-race party on the 5th
floor featuring a late-night menu and bar specials on Saturday
night. A special link to both of the special hotel rates is
available at www.aarn.com.
Those wanting to call for reservations at the Chelsea can dial
1-800-548-3030 and mention code: SAMMOTO to receive the racer’s
discount.
Deadline for the above-listed prices is December 23, but
hotel staff has encouraged those planning to attend to call as
soon as possible as a sell-out is predicted.
