racing’s finest invade the Full Throttle Autos Summer Series car
show at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, N.Y. Sal Accardi Jr.’s No. 93
Modified, Eddie Brunnhoelzl III’s No. 8x Modified, Johnny Bush’s No. 68
Modified, Marisa Niederauer’s No. 74 Modified, Joseph Burns’ No.
35 Late Model, Matt Pepitone’s No. 17 Blunderbust, and the No. x90
Modified of Fred Harbach are expected to appear Sunday as part
of a two-day show that features the best cars and trucks in the
tri-state area.
The Full Throttle Autos Summer Series car show opens at 8 AM and
closes at 6 PM for both Saturday and Sunday. All cars should
arrive between 8-10 AM. Over 1,000 cars are expected, including
hot rods, rat rods, pro-streets, imports, exotics, and race
cars. On Saturday, a People’s Choice award will be given by News
12’s sports director and anchorman, Michael Coleman. In addition
to the trophy, the winning car will be featured in an upcoming
issue of Full Throttle Autos Magazine. Full judging and trophies
will occur on Sunday, with Motormouth Radio’s Chris and Ray as
honorary judges. Other media personalities in attendance include
News 10/55 anchorman Richard Rose; 102.3 WBAB weekend jock,
Steady (Mr. NASCAR) Eddie; and Full Throttle Autos’ Danielle
McCormack.
Spectator admission is only $5 for adults, $1 for children while
its only $25 for show cars.
