Bethel Motor Speedway
Adds Legends July 5
Bethel Motor Speedway has plenty in store for the Legends
division during the month of August, including a 50-lap INEX
national qualifier race on August 1st and LegendStock 2009 on
August 15th. So far this season, many drivers have traveled to
the quarter-mile asphalt oval located in upstate New York to get
seat time in preparation for these events.
In the last two weeks, however, two consecutive rainouts have
put a damper on the teams' abilities to accomplish this. As a
result, Bethel has added a Legends race to the schedule on
Sunday, July 5th. The race will be part of Bethel's Fireworks
Madness double-header weekend of racing.
The event will be run using the same format that Legends have
been using for other events this season. Drivers will draw for
starting positions in their heat races, with an invert of the
lineup for the feature that will be determined by dice roll.
Legends are slated to race at Bethel this Saturday, June 27th.
During the month of July, the division's scheduled races fall on
July 5th, July 18th, and July 25th.
