Roger Maynor Goes For 100
Wins Saturday At Riverhead Raceway
History could be made this Saturday night August 15th at
Riverhead Raceway as Roger Maynor of Bay Shore could very well
win his 100th career Figure Eight feature event.
Maynor won his 6th main event of the 2009 season this past
Saturday night when he bested Arne Pedersen of Moriches and Tom
Kraft of Bellport. Roger won his first Riverhead Raceway Figure
Eight race on June 15th, 1985 and since then has added 98 more
checker flags to his collection.
The August 15th Figure Eight feature is a 25-lap, double point
event in addition to Arne Pedersen and Tom Kraft trying to stop
Maynor will be Mike Mujsce, Scott Pedersen, Ken Hyde Sr. & Jr.,
Michael Rommeney and Johnny Vullo.
