International Flair
Coming to Motorsports 2010

100 Race Car & Trade Show is getting some international flair.
Marcos Ambrose, 33, of Tasmania, who is a regular on the NASCAR
Sprint Car Series, will make a stop a the three-day trade show
at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa., on
Saturday, January 23rd, from 1-3 p.m. In addition, Ambrose will
be joined by his crew chief Frankie Kerr, who has a successful
Modified and Sprint Car history at various dirt tracks
throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
Ambrose is considered one of the best
Australian V8 Supercar drivers in history. Before coming to the
United States to race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series,
Ambrose won the 2003 and 2004 Australian Supercar titles and
he’s credited for virtually single-handedly reviving Ford Racing
in Australia.

Series race at Kansas Speedway. It was the first time a
non-American driver finished in the top five in a series race.
He has since gone on to score two Nationwide Series events, both
coming at the Watkins Glen Road course.
Ambrose currently ranks 17th in the Sprint
Cup standings in the JTG Daugherty Toyota. He has recorded four
top-five times, including a second-place finish at Watkins Glen
and a third place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway.
After a stint in Modifieds, Kerr burst onto
the Sprint Car scene, winning 130 features in 1351 starts from
1983 through 2000. The Bensalem, Pa., native won two All Star
Circuit of Champions titles along with winning with nearly every
sanctioning body in the United States.
The 25th anniversary show is creating a
great amount of interest amongst race fans, racers and the
overall motorsports industry. The show started 25 years ago just
five miles from Oaks at the Valley Forge Convention Center.
