EEKR to Benefit John
Theissen Children's Foundation
Once again, the East End Kart Racing (EEKR)
karters are opening up their hearts for less fortunate children
by helping the John Theissen Children’s Foundation. This Sunday,
Nov. 8 and the following Sunday, Nov. 15 you can bring new unwrapped
toys for the worthy cause while the EEKR karts take to the
high-banked oval of Riverhead Raceway.
Acting EEKR president, Dave Brigati, and
his officials thought it would be a great idea to continue this
tradition with the club. “Since it was such a success last year,
why not keep it going,” said Brigati. “It’s nice to see our club
do their part, especially around the holidays, for children who
are less fortunate than others.”
Also, listen to 102.3 WBAB this weekend
with Steady “Mr. NASCAR” Eddie as Eddie will be giving more
details about the event taking place with the EEKR at Riverhead
Raceway.

Help a child by giving to the John Theissen Children’s
Foundation and feel good knowing that you are putting a smile on
a child’s face.
