Golden Auto Body Backs
Super Pro Trucks Again for 2010
For the 9th consecutive season Charlie
Rizzo and his Golden Auto Body of College Point, Queens have
agreed to sponsor the Super Pro Trucks of Riverhead Raceway for
the upcoming 2010 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.
Golden Auto Body will add extra money to the weekly Super Pro
Truck purse and host their night at the races on Saturday
September 18th as part of the 2010 National Demolition Derby
program. "Golden Auto Body has been a great marketing partner at
Riverhead Raceway and especially for the Super Pro Trucks over
the years" Bob Finan of Riverhead Raceway noted. "We continue to
seek additional sponsors for the Super Pro Trucks and all our
divisions in 2010 on either an individual or seasonal basis. The
100-lap NASCAR Modified race on May 15th and our NASCAR Whelen
Modified Tour race on July 31st are still available for an
interested sponsor".
Popular Mike "The King of Queens" Albasini of Flushing will
defend his 2009 championship in the class and will be tested by
the likes of Lou Maestri, Rob "The Racer" McCormick, Roger &
Chris Turbush, Danny Grennan, the racing Dumicich family Frank
Sr., Frank Jr., and Erin Dumicich among others.
The 2010 Super Pro Truck season will open Saturday May 1st as
part of a seven division race program that will also see the
