Monte Takes Home Several
LIKA Awards
Anthony Monte took home several awards from
the 2009 race season at the annual Long Island Karting
Association Awards Banquet on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the
Islandia Marriot Hotel. Anthony won second place in the
Vanderbilt Race Series, first place in the Saturday Sprint
Series, second place in the Long Island Championship Series and
second place in the Long Island Karting Association Race Season
in the 80cc 2 cycle Cadet Novice class.
Anthony's race kart was sponsored by Go Pro
Hero Video Cameras, Fleming Motorsports, Rockwell Action Sport
Watches, Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation and Margison Graphics.
Without the support of our sponsors, Anthony success in 2009
would not be possible. We are hoping that all of our sponsors
return for the 2010 race season. We would also like to thank all
of our friends and family who help both Nicholas and Anthony
during this past race season.
We would also like to announce that Douglas
Wheels, DWT has signed on to sponsor the Monte Brothers Racing
team for the 2010 race season. DWT will be on all three race
karts for the upcoming season.
