Safelite Auto Glass Signs 
				On With Riverhead's NASCAR Modifieds for 2010
				Officials of the NASCAR Whelen All-American 
				Series at Barbara & Jim Cromarty's Riverhead Raceway announced 
				today that Safelite Auto Glass has signed on to be a seasonal 
				sponsor for the NASCAR Modifieds in 2010. The NASCAR Modifieds 
				will headline the 2010 season opener on Saturday May 1st at the 
				historic quarter mile oval.

				Safelite Auto Glass will add weekly purse money to the NASCAR 
				Modified purse and also host a night at the races on Saturday 
				June 26th, when former NASCAR Modified driver Richie Searles of 
				Safelite will be on hand in the turn three midway with more 
				information on Safelite and their services.
				
				John Fortin of Holtsville will start his 2009 championship 
				defense at Riverhead Raceway Saturday evening May 1st in the 
				NASCAR Modified ranks with the likes of Chuck Steuer, Dave 
				Brigati, Bill Park, Timmy Solomito, Chris Young, Wayne Anderson 
				and many more out to dethrone Fortin. Aside from his Riverhead 
				title, Fortin was also the New York State Modified champion for 
				the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series and recently noted that 
				earned him in access of $12,000 in point fund earnings. 
				
				Joining the NASCAR Modifieds for the opening night May 1st are 
				the Late Models, Figure Eights, Chargers, Blunderbusts, Super 
				Pro Trucks and Legend Race Cars. Feature event racing for the 
				seven for one program will start at 5:00 pm, with the 
				Blunderbusts racing in a 30-lap, double point main event to 
				usher in the new season.
