LIKA Announces 2010
Schedule
Peter Monte and the Long Island Karting
Association are pleased to announce the 2010 race schedule. we
have 11 race dates this year. The LIKA Year-End Championship
will be based on the 11 race dates at the Nassau Veterans
Memorial Coliseum. Again this year we will have the Vanderbilt
Race Series and the Long Island Championship Series. Each will
be a three (3) race series with the top three finishers in each
class receiving awards at the end of the year. Our annual picnic
will be on Sunday, August 1st, which will also be the 30 lap
Endurance Race. Our season will conclude with the Annual Turkey
Race on Sunday, November 7th.
We also have three dates at Oakland Valley Race Park (OVRP) for
a total of 14 events for 2010. The races at OVRP will be a
separate race series with awards given at the annual Awards
Banquet, but will not count towards the LIKA Year-End
Championship.
We are working on a number of Special Events this year which
should be a lot of fun for the entire family.
