1000 lb. Challenge This Sunday July 25
On
Sunday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Long Island Karting
Association (LIKA) is racing to raise food for Island Harvest. Come
down to the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum to make a food
donation to Island Harvest and if you bring 20 cans or more, you'll
get a free pass to watch the races. LIKA President, Peter Monte,
says, "This is a great local charity and a good opportunity to show
people how much fun go-kart racing is."
