Fireworks to Highlight Riverhead's I Love America Night on Aug. 21

What is better than having one Fireworks display at Riverhead Raceway
annually, well having a second one of course and that is exactly what will
occur Saturday night August 21st when Barbara & Jim Cromarty play host to I
Love America night. A full complement of NASCAR stock car racing will join a
4-Cylinder Demolition Derby, Skid Plate Race and Free Amusement Rides for
the children on Donaldsons VW-Subaru night.

Award winning pyrotechnic firm Bay Fireworks will again provide a
breathtaking array of colorful fireworks displays in an intimate setting at
the 61-year old quarter mile facility to the backdrop of an all-new musical
arrangement. Barbara & Jim Cromarty, life long patriots of the USA, started
the I Love America night show several seasons ago so we can all show our
love and support of this great nation in which we live.

The high powered 600 horsepower NASCAR Modifieds will headline the race card in a 35-lap feature event tilt. Joining the "Mod Squad" are the Figure
Eights, Chargers, Blunderbusts and Legend Race Cars all of whom will run
20-lap main events with the exception of the Figure Eights who will battle
for 15 circuits. All the feature event winners on the night will take home a
handsome trophy from Donaldsons Volkswagen-Subaru, "The Smart Choice" of
Sayville. Since 1989 Donaldsons has been a pace car provider to Riverhead
Raceway, this year featuring the Turbo changed V6 Volkswagen CC.

For the second time in as many weeks the racers of the new Skid Plate
division will again try to navigate the quarter mile with their front wheels
in front wheel driver cars, while their rear wheels are secured by skid
plates. The event has become very popular with both competitors and fans in
its initial season. The night will conclude with a bone jarring, car
destroying 4-Cylinder Demolition Derby as the compact cars will see action
for the second time in three weeks.

All evening long on I Love America night children can entertain themselves
on an Amusement Ride that will be set-up behind the third turn are of the
track and is absolutely free of charge, another new innovation in 2010 from
Barbara & Jim Cromarty.

Racing will start at 6:00 pm and for further information please call
