Bethel Motor Speedway to Raffle Off Legends

Following the success of the Legends car raffle in 2009, it
was announced this week that Bethel Motor Speedway would once
again be raffling off a Legends car to benefit the Young Racers
Program for the 2011 season.
The Young Racers Program has been in place at the speedway since
2008, and participation in the program has grown extensively.
Just one testament to the popularity of the Young Racers Program
has been the explosive growth in the Bandolero division, made up
of drivers between the ages of eight and 15. Youngsters
participating in the program receive, among other benefits, the
opportunity to be mentored by more experienced drivers and
assistance in learning about the cars, racing techniques, and
more.
Raffle tickets are available for $100 per ticket, and a maximum
of 200 tickets will be sold. The car that is being raffled off
retails for $12,995.
The drawing will be held once all of the tickets are sold, but
no later than February 26, 2011. Last year’s winner was Glenn
Dixon of Long Island. All proceeds from the sale of tickets will
benefit the Young Racers Program.

Tickets will also be available at various times and locations,
which will be posted on Bethel’s web site at
www.bethelmotorspeedway.com as they become available.
