Riverhead Raceway Winter Meetings Set for January 30
During the 2010 Riverhead Raceway champions
luncheon Sunday co-chief stewards Mike Cappiello and Jim Maggio
announced the date for the 2011 Competitors' Winter Meeting is
set for Sunday January 30th at a brand new location, the Hotel
Indigo East End in Riverhead. The Hotel Indigo East End is
located just south of the Long Island Expressway off exit 72.
Race procedures and other pertinent information will be
discussed at the Competitors' Winter Meetings with the following
schedule to be in effect. The Blunderbusts and Legend Race Cars
will be first up at 9:30 am, while the Chargers and Super Pro
Truck Meetings to follow at 11:00 am. After a lunch break for
the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Officials the meetings
will resume with the Figure Eight and Late Models gathering at
1:00 pm and are to be followed by the NASCAR Modifieds at 2:30
pm. The day will conclude with a Enduro and Demolition Derby
meeting that is set to start at 4:00 pm.
The address for the Hotel Indigo East End is 1830 West Main
Street (Route 25) in Riverhead and is located directly across
the street from former Late Model champion Ed Densieski's
Dynamic Automotive.

The 2011 NASCAR Whelen All American Series at Barbara & Jim
Cromarty's Riverhead Raceway will open up on Saturday evening
May 7th at 5:30 pm.
