Riverhead Raceway Announces J&R's Steak House Sponsorship for
Late Models
One of Long Island's most popular
restaurants, J&R'S Steak House, has signed on to sponsor the
Late Model division of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series at
Riverhead Raceway for the remainder of the 2011 season it was
announced recently by promoters Barbara & Jim Cromarty. J&R'S
Steak House has six locations across Long Island with all six
being part of this marketing partnership.
"We are very happy to have J&R'S Steak
House come on board as a marketing partner with our Late Model
division" Joe Arian of the Riverhead Raceway marketing staff
said, "it makes perfect sense to have a popular restaurant
team-up with our popular Late Models at Riverhead Raceway".
J&R'S Steak House has a location just a few miles to the west of
the racetrack in Calverton as well as Rocky Point, Stony Brook,
Medford, Patchogue and Islip and offers a kids eat free menu
Sunday through Thursday among many other specials.
As part of the sponsorship package J&R'S
Steak House will host their night at the races on Saturday
evening June 25th when the Late Models run a 50-lap feature
event featuring time trial qualifying.
Kevin Metzger of Massapequa who is
shooting for his third straight Late Model title in 2011 will be
among those trying to capture the J&R'S Steak House trophy on
June 25th with Roger Oxee, Peter Eriksen, Scott Kulesa, Jarrod
Hayes, Chris LaSpisa, Tony Anello and Rob McCormick also set to
do battle. Joining the Late Models on the card that evening will
be the NASCAR Modifieds, Blunderbusts, Super Pro trucks and a
6-Cylinder Enduro. Time trials are set for 5:30 pm, with feature
racing slated for a 6:00 pm start.
