Registration Opens for LegendStock 2011 National Qualifier
Amidst record car counts and early
season excitement in the Legends and Bandolero divisions, the
management at Bethel Motor Speedway announced this week that
registration was officially opened for the LegendStock 2011 INEX
Asphalt Nationals qualifier race, slated for Saturday, August
6th.
Last year, LegendStock drew in 46 drivers, making the event a
display of racing talent by some of the top competitors from
across the Northeast and beyond. LegendStock 2011, the fourth
running of the prestigious event, is expected to once again
bring in both numerous locals and many visitors, all looking to
capture the $1,500 payday that awaits the winner.
The prestige that comes with a win at LegendStock, however,
comes not from the payout, but rather from the unique
guitar-shaped trophies that are awarded to the division winners.
The draw of the race doesn’t end there either. As an INEX
Asphalt Nationals qualifier, drivers are also keeping their aim
focused on grabbing a spot at the Nationals, which are slated to
be held at Las Vegas Motor Speedway October 27-29.
