SIGHTS OF THE TRACK

The Riverhead Raceway Indian always salutes visitors. The "wheel-eye" view of the pits. Figure 8 #10 team of George Sprague and 2001 Blunderbust Champion, Chris Chirico team have a talk while waiting to practice. Lew Hallock measures his toe (for those who don't know, I mean the angle of his wheels, not his big toe on his foot). This Blunderbust earns the best saying award from Long Island Jam.

The Lost Boys are found, the #10 Tom Slee and #48 Mike Meola.  After the picture shoot, they were lost again but found at the track later in the evening. The VW Beetle Convertible, one of the pace cars for Riverhead Raceway.

#11x Brian Schwarz, #5 Frank Dumicich, and #8 Frank Dumicich, Jr. #46 Lenny Costa just can't catch a break lately. Opening night winner, #66 Mike Albasini hasn't seen much success since his first career win.
BLUNDERBUSTS

#51 Artie Pedersen, #61 Chris Busick, and #00 Tommy Walkowiak are three veterans who are having a tough go in 2003. #88 Anthony Aiello is another veteran having a tough early 2003. #00 Tommy Walkowiak, #87 Chris Chirico, and #65 Sean Byrne are all capable of winning on any given night. #6 Scott Sepe "The Grey Primer Ghost" has been very potent in the early goings of 2003. 4-wide is never a good situation, as #55 Bobby Gardner, #3 Doug Watson, #23 Eugene Malverty, and #65 Sean Byrne try the fit of a four-wide sandwich.

Two talented young guns, the #2 Jeremy McDermott and #89x Chris McGuire. The #01 Rob Tribuzio has had a good start to the 2003 year and alongside him is the #99 Jack Orlando. #58 Richie Hubbard, #10 Brad Van Houten, #43 Ray Minieri, and #00 Mike Bologna mingle. #22x John Denniston and #81 Chris Turbush are two representatives of the youth movement in the Chargers. #99 Jack Orlando, #17x Rusty Turbush, and #8 Dan Turbush are two savvy veterans ready to win at any given moment.
