STAFFORD SPRINGS, Ct.  (April 23, 2005)

Inclement weather washed out Bud Pole Qualifying for the Tech-Net Spring Sizzler presented by Carquest Auto Parts NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race at Stafford Motor Speedway. Qualifying is now scheduled to take place at 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, April 24 with the 200 lap race to start at approximately 3:15 p.m.

     The Spring Sizzler is the second race of the 19 race 2005 schedule. Tony Hirschman is the defending champion of the series. Jerry Marquis is the defending Spring Sizzler winner.

    A total of 43 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour teams were in the Stafford pit area
waiting for an attempt to qualify.
